Using inspiration from artists like Paul-Henry Bourguignon, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Martin Wong, my current work is exploring the concept of abstracted portraits. Inspired by historical paintings where subjects appear regal and composed, but beneath these polished exteriors lies the untold story of their hidden traumas. Each piece in the series reveals a dual image, capturing both the public façade and the concealed emotional reality of the person depicted.
